Whale Watching, Deception Pass, Semiahoo Bay

We start our journey in Seattle and make our way to the San Juan Islands for a scenic cruise through the heart of the Islands to Friday Harbor, where you’ll have ample time to wander around this vibrant seaside port filled with interesting shops, art galleries, brewpubs, and the largest whale museum in the Northwest. Next, we’ll enjoy a delicious Northwest wild salmon and BBQ chicken lunch with a variety of side dishes and dessert , all taking in the sites aboard the Victoria Star 2. While you dine, we make our way towards prime whale watching waters looking for Orca, Humpback, Minke, and on rare occasions, Gray and Fin whales. Eco River Cruise, Harrison Hot Springs, Fraser Valley

After breakfast, we depart for Canada arriving at Harrison Hot Springs around lunch time. The resort offers multiple options for guests to explore at their own pace. After lunch, we will take a eco jet boat cruise where we will see majestic eagles, osprey, seals, herons and a variety of other wildlife on this hour and a half long trip down the Harrison River to where it meets up with Harrison Bay and Harrison Mills, near Kilby Provincial Park. No matter what the time of year, you will be amazed by the natural serene beauty. Other points of interest include First Nations’ petroglyphs, the historic “Bubble and Squeak” sunken steam ship, and the stunning vistas of the Mountains surrounding the Fraser Valley. Next, we take a scenic drive in the Limo Liner for an evening dinner served by our Chef at one of our favorite scenic locations in the valley.
Okanogan Valley & Wine Tour, Lake Kelowna

The morning is yours to explore and enjoy the resort before we depart after lunch. We’ll take our time traveling through the Okanogan Valley and stop at the very best wineries in the region. This award-winning wine region is in the middle of one of the most beautiful combination of rolling hills, vineyards, mountains and lakes. With time on our side, we will visit multiple vineyards and take time to stop at the scenic lookouts that make this region so special. We arrive at Lake Kelowna in time to freshen up at your lake-view room before joining the chef for a special lakeside dinner, soaking in the fresh air and spectacular lake views.

Our journey towards Banff will include a stop for a leisure hike in the resort town of Revelstoke, one of the most beautiful places on our journey. We’ll spend the day exploring the Rockies lakes, rivers and mountains while we look for wildlife in their natural habitat. Paced for relaxation and adventure, this day offers our most extensive exploration in the Limo Liner and with multiple opportunities to venture out on your own. When we arrive in Banff, take time to explore the shopping districts, pubs, wineries and galleries.

Today we travel into the Canadian Rockies and along one of the world’s most spectacular routes to the Columbia Icefield. Once at the glacier, we board a massive Ice Explorer for an adventure atop this ancient ice block, deep enough to bury the Eiffel Tower. Learning about the area’s unique ecosystem and the creation, we make our way spectacular Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield. The views of sprawling rocky mountain vistas and local wildlife unfold along the way with photo stops at Athabasca Falls and Stutfield Glacier. We will breathe in the fresh mountain air at several scenic viewpoints at Lake Louise, Victoria Glacier, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake before ascending in a modern, fully enclosed four-passenger gondola cabin to the top of Sulphur Mountain to experience a stunning bird’s-eye view of six incredible mountain ranges. Glide up over the treetops to the crest of a steep-sided Rocky Mountain peak and observe jaw- dropping mountaintop views at 7,468 feet. Continue to marvel at the view through the glass walls of Sky Bistro, where we’ll enjoy a distinctly Canadian menu featuring a handpicked selection of local meats, produce and ingredients.
Banff, Canadian Rockies, & Calgary

The morning is yours to enjoy the shopping district and local culture. After lunch we will make our way towards Calgary with stops along the way for hiking, photographing the Canadian Rockies beauty. Our Chef will prepare a special wine and food pairing and locally sourced farewell dinner with the Rockies as our backdrop. A driving tour of Calgary educates us about the rich history of the area before we end the day with a real-life cowboy experience and dinner, sure to create lasting memories.
The journey home
