The Everglades is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and provides protection to the coastal lowlands as well as important habitat for numerous rare and endangered species like the manatee, American crocodile, and the elusive Florida panther. A guided twilight kayaking excursions, stunning sunrises and sunsets and views of one of the most unique ecosystems on Earth serve as the backdrop for your unique and unforgettable Everglades experience.

Day 1:
Welcome to Naples
Premium Lodging:  Hampton Inn: Naples, FL

Your Limo Liner will pick you up at the hotel at 4:30pm with appetizers and drinks served as a warm welcome.

Day 2:
Everglades National Park
Premium Lodging: Hampton Inn: Homestead, FL

Today is devoted to exploring the Everglades National Park which protects the southern 20 % of the original Florida Everglades. Established in 1947, the Park became the first designated area within the U.S. to protect flora and fauna native to a region, as opposed to geologic scenery. Home to 36 threatened or endangers species, with waters crawling at a pace of .25 miles per day, the Everglades houses incredibly rich biological diversity. It is the only ecosystem in the world where Alligators and Crocodiles coexist.

Day 3:
Everglades National Park to Everglades City

Your bags will be picked up inside your hotel room at 9:00 a.m. for our 9:30 a.m. departure. The Limo Liner will be parked outside of the lobby.

Day 4:
Big Cypress National Preserve

Today we explore one of the most biologically diverse regions of the Everglades. The Big Cypress National Preserve borders the wet freshwater prairies to the south, just a 10 minute drive from Everglades City. Home to 9 federally listed endangered species, the freshwaters of the preserve are vital to the health of the Everglades and serve as a natural water filtration system. The stunning natural landscape is robust with cypress domes, open prairies, and areas of dwarf cypresses, ready to be admired and captured by your camera.

Day 5:
Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park

Dubbed the Amazon of North America’, Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, a 75,000 acre swamp strand nestled in the Big Cypress, is one of the few remaining old wet jungles of Florida. Only 15 minutes away from Everglades City, Fakahatchee strand is the bromeliad and orchid capital of the world, and is home to the incredibly elusive ‘Ghost Orchid’. If you’re lucky, you just might get a chance to see one for yourself. It’s also the only place in the  world where the rare Guzmania Bromeliad grows. Our chef has prepared a packed lunch for a 4-mile flat hike along an old logging trail where we’ll search for all of the unique flora, ferns and indigenous wildlife of this fascinating destination.

Day 6:
The Ten Thousand Islands

Today we visit a truly unique location. As part of the Everglades National Park, the Ten Thousand Islands is a 35,000 acre labyrinth of barrier islands which harbor an abundance of life. Once occupied by Native Americans, this vibrant ecosystem is the home of picturesque mangroves, sea grass beds and many species of fish, manatees, eagles and wildlife including many endangered species. Water from the Big Cypress Preserve filters through the Ten Thousand Islands before reaching the Gulf of Mexico.

Day 7:
Headed Home

Breakfast begins at 6:30 a.m. on this final day of your adventure. Be sure to set up your transfer and be in the lobby 30 minutes in advance to ensure a timely departure. We hope you enjoyed this unique Experience Park Tours journey.
