This journey into the Northwest provides a range to stark contrasts. From the bustling city to observing migration of majestic whales, you’ll see incredible vistas, mountains, lakes, valleys and the incredible San Juan Islands. Sure to create lasting memories, we’ll view the giant trees, cliffs and unique Hoh Rainforest while walking a labyrinth of suspension bridges and pathways. We’ll explore quaint towns and visit specially selected wineries with time to spare for hiking, golfing, relaxing and taking in the awe inspiring views.
Premium Lodging: The Motif: Seattle, WA
Our adventure begins in the Emerald City at the Pike Place Market, where visitors have been witnessing the flying fish, fresh flowers and amazing food and hand-crafted treasures since 1907. We’ll explore Seattle Center for panoramic views of the Puget Sound and the Cascade Range from atop the famous Space Needle before walking through the Chihuly Garden of Glass. Next, our Limo Liner takes us on a scenic drive of the Seattle area while we learn about the history, culture and iconic landmarks that make this place so special. The evening is yours to explore downtown and the waterfront.
Premium Lodging: Harrison Hot Springs Resort: Fraser Valley, BC
We depart early on the Victoria Clipper to travel across the Puget Sound and into Victoria’s Inner Harbor, enjoying the panoramic views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range as well as sea life and birds of the Sound. A short trip on the limo-liner takes us to Butchart Gardens for afternoon tea and a walk in the century old gardens. We then take a ferry to a guest-favorite, Capilano Suspension Bridge State Park to walk among the giant trees, cliffs and the forest floor. The series of narrow cantilevered suspension bridges, stairs and platforms allow you to marvel at the amazing scenery. We then travel through Vancouver into the Fraser Valley where we will relax and take in the lake and walking trails at Harrison Hot Springs Resort.

Take the morning to explore the Hot Springs Resort. After lunch, we will take an eco jet boat cruise where we will see majestic eagles, osprey, seals, herons and a variety of other wildlife on this 1.5 hour trip down the Harrison River to where it meets up with Harrison Bay and Harrison Mills, near Kilby Provincial Park. Enjoy the natural serene beauty of the river and other points of interest: First Nations’ petrographs, the historic “Bubble and Squeak” sunken steam ship, and the stunning vistas of the Mountains surrounding the Fraser Valley. Our chef will serve dinner at a specially chosen scenic spot.

We depart early to cross the border into the US to the Port of Bellingham for a full day exploring the majestic San Juan Islands. We start with a scenic cruise through the heart of the Islands to Friday Harbor, where you’ll have ample time to wander around this vibrant seaside port filled with interesting shops, art galleries, brewpubs, and the largest whale museum in the Northwest. Next, we’ll enjoy a delicious Northwest wild salmon and BBQ chicken lunch with a variety of side dishes and dessert , all taking in the sites aboard the Victoria Star 2. While you dine, we make our way towards prime whale watching waters looking for Orca, Humpback, Minke, and on rare occasions, Gray and Fin whales. This San Juan Islands Deluxe Whale Watching Adventure cruise provides incredible sights, sounds and marine wildlife for you to enjoy. After our cruise, relax and take in the views at the Semiahmoo Golf Resort and Spa, chosen the Northwest’s Best Resort in 2016 by Seattle Magazine readers.

Departing Semiahmoo Resort, we make our way into the North Cascade National Park, filled with glacier-clad peaks rising almost vertically from the lush forested valleys. Often called the American Alps, The North Cascades offer stunning views of virgin forests and fragile subalpine meadows where black bears, mountain goats and black-tailed deer, marmots, mountain lions and bobcats thrive. Our first stop is for lunch at Ross Lake. For those wanting to hike, the Chef will have a lunch for your pack to enjoy while hiking the ample trails. A guided hike (7.6 miles) is available to the brilliant turquoise Diablo Lake and there are many easy walking trails to multiple scenic viewpoints.
As we continue our scenic drive towards the Lake Chelan Recreation Area, we stop for a treat and photo-ops in the charming town of Winthrop. Once in Lake Chelan, we will visit a couple of our favorite award-winning wineries. The Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth will host us for dinner and a unique shopping experience. Our final stop is the town of Roslyn, where Northern Exposure was filmed in the 90’s, before arriving late at the Suncadia Resort. Perhaps sip some local wine by the fire at Stillwater’s winery. You have the entire next day to fully enjoy the amenities.

The Limo Liner offers multiple excursions today for hikers to explore the mountain lakes, and alpine ridges with both leisure and aggressive options. Golf, spa services and beautiful walking trails are available for those choosing to stay at the resort. Paddle boards, mountain bikes, hot springs and an amazing winery are all at your fingertips. After lunch, we will depart and slowly make our way down the mountain with unique stops to see some majestic waterfalls.
