Day 1:
Willamette Valley, Columbia River Gorge, Vista House, Bridge of the Gods
Lodging: Timberline Lodge, Gov’t Camp, OR

Our Vineyard tour begins in Portland with a full immersion into the Willamette Valley wineries and vineyards. The lush landscape offers panoramic views of a fertile land that is home to some of the finest Pinot Noir’s in the world. The tour includes two different vineyards in the Willamette Valley and our experience will be capped off with a special dinner where are chef will use local ingredients to pair with the region’s best wines. Our scenic drive towards the Columbia River Gorge stops at the Vista House at Crown Point which offers panoramic views of the gateway to the Gorge. We’ll do a special tasting or local Gorge wines on the Limo Liner while we drive along the Columbia River observing views of the Pillars of Hercules, Beacon Rock and a drive over the Bridge of the Gods. We close our evening at Skamania Lodge overlooking the Columbia River.

Day 2:
Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Walla Walla, Vineyards
Lodging: Marcus Whitman Hotel: Walla Walla, WA

The morning is yours to golf, get a massage, enjoy the walking trails at the resort or simply relax with the many resort amenities. After lunch, we begin our trek through the Columbia River Gorge with stops at 2 wineries with the beauty of the Mt. Hood National Scenic Area as our backdrop. Our chef will keep your palate satisfied throughout the day as we visit the waterfalls, wildflowers and views of the volcanoes along the river. We continue towards Walla Walla where we visit 2 more vineyards before settling in for the night.

Day 3:
Lewiston, Snake River, Hells Canyon, Dug Bar, Palouse Falls

Lodging: Coeur d’ Alene Resort: Coeur d’ Alene, ID

We begin early as we set out for Lewiston, Idaho for an adventure on the Snake River in beautiful Hells Canyon. The wildlife and scenery are on full display as we navigate the river in a covered jet boat. We touch three states all at once in a special place where Oregon, Washington and Idaho meet.
We visit Dug Bar, the historic location where, per orders from the U.S. Army, Chief Joseph led his people from Oregon, across the Snake River, to the Laswai Indian Reservation in Idaho. The location was home to many battles and one of the greatest retreats in military history.
Fresh air, sunshine and scenic beauty compliment a day of great food, wine, and laughs. Our final leg of our tour is a visit through the Palouse with a stop at the Palouse Falls State Park and Channeled Scablands. Sheer size and splendor make Palouse Falls one of the most scenic and impressive waterfalls in the Channeled Scablands and all of Washington, the vertical cliffs scoured clean by a flood unleased by glacial lake drainage. We continue into Lake Coeur d’ Alene where we will experience the small-town charm and shopping districts art galleries and dining. Our five-star resort is complete with an amazing golf course, panoramic views of the lake, and fantastic amenities with many diner options are located within just a block or two.

Day 4:
Coeur d’Alene

Lodging: Coeur d’ Alene Resort: Coeur d’ Alene, ID

This is a great day to relax, shop, golf and just enjoy Lake Coeur d’ Alene. The morning is yours to sleep in, play golf, get a massage, enjoy the spa services and infinity pool or explore the waterfront. A lake cruise, available from the hotel throughout the day, is included in your package if you choose to go. In the late afternoon, we depart on the Limo Liner for a wine tour and a special dinner at the Vineyard.

Day 5:
Lake Chelan, Dry Falls State Park, Grand Coulee Dam,

Lodging: Campbells Resort: Lake Chelan, WA

This morning is at your leisure. After lunch, we will make our way towards Lake Chelan with stops at Grand Coulee Dam and Dry Falls State Park where guests can marvel at how Glaciers formed this amazing area. We arrive at the resort in time to freshen up and then begin our late afternoon wine tour of the regions great vineyards. The high desert landscape provides the perfect canvas for the 21 wineries in the area. The region is one of the largest producers of cherries in the world and the many fresh fruit stands offers fresh berries, cherries, pears, apples and peaches. Lake Chelan, 51 miles long and over 1,400 feet deep, offers many spectacular opportunities for photography enthusiasts. Our chef will prepare dinner pairing the regions wines and local ingredients. Tonight we sleep on the banks of Lake Chelan, the shoreline and town offering a chance to stretch your legs in the early evening or morning.

Day 6:
Leavenworth, Puget Sound, Chateau St. Michelle, Seattle

Lodging: Cedarbrook Lodge: Seatac, WA
We depart around 10:00 am and make our way to Leavenworth Washington, an amazing Bavarian wonderland nestled along the Wenatchee River on the southeast side of the Cascades. Wine, beer, and spirits tasting is available throughout the charming downtown shopping district, a favorite getaway for Seattle residents. Plenty of lunch options are available on your Flex Pass. After lunch and shopping, we travel over White Pass and on to Puget Sound. Our day ends with a wine tour at Chateau St. Michelle in Woodinville before we return Seattle. The farewell dinner at Salty’s at Alki, overlooking the Seattle skyline, is a great end to our tour. Friday night is yours to explore the Seattle culture and nightlife.
Day 7:
Breakfast, Airport transfer, Goodbyes

We say our goodbyes this morning as you prepare for your departure. After a hot breakfast, you’ll be transported to the airport for your journey home. Thank you for trusting Experience Park Tours with your Western Adventure.
