This all-inclusive luxury tour of the Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake, Oregon Coast and Willamette Valley Wine Country begins and ends in Portland, Oregon. Lake cruises, jet boat rides, vineyards, majestic forests and ocean scenery will be complimented with a taste of the local bounty from Oregon’s fertile soil. You’ll walk in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark while experiencing the high desert, majestic volcanoes, Pacific Ocean tranquility and the unique culture of Portland on this Oregon Adventure with Experience Park Tours.
Day 1: Vista House, Multnomah Falls, Lewis and Clark Discovery Center, Stonehenge Memorial, and Hood River Fruit loop
Premium Lodging:Timberline Lodge: Gov’t Camp, OR
We will depart from the Portland Convention Center at 9am. If you haven’t already eaten, our chef will have a selection of on-the-go breakfast items and baked good available aboard the Limo Liner.
Day 2: Smith Rock State Park and Deschutes Brewery Public House
Premium Lodging: Tetherow Lodge: Bend, OR
Indulge in an award-winning breakfast at the Cascade Dining Room in the lodge. After breakfast, take in the lodge how you choose including wandering through the surrounding walking trails to enjoy seasonal wildflowers. Our scenic drive begins at the top of Mt. Hood and descends into the high desert of Bend, Oregon. The landscape slowly transcends from the lush Evergreen trees of the Mt. Hood National Forest to the arid landscape of Central Oregon. Take in the unique smell of sage, Ponderosa Pine, and fresh water from the rivers and lakes, making this a truly unique visit. Our Chef will provide an abundance of appetizers throughout the afternoon, fueling you as we experience the scenic deep river canyons of Smith Rock State Park. After a day of exploring, we’ll drive into the historic mining town, Bend, Oregon, to savor craft beers and American fare at the Deschutes Brewery Public House. Enjoy a wide selection of specialty and seasonal brews that are found exclusively on-sight! Our evening will conclude at the beautiful Tetherow Lodge.
Day 3: Crater Lake National Park
Premium Lodging:Running Y Ranch & Resort: Klamath Falls, OR
Excitement builds as we drive into Crater Lake National Park for a visit to deepest lake in the United States – the ninth deepest in the world! Options include a hike to a unique lake boat cruise, fishing, or general relaxation overlooking this wondrous natural volcanic formation. The Volcano Boat Cruises depart from the north side at Cleetwood Cove, offering a fantastic perspective of the lake with a stop to explore Wizard Island. A National Park Service Ranger will offer cultural and natural history of Crater Lake. Upon returning, it’s time for the 1.1-mile hike out. For those who fish, no license is required. Kokanee Salmon and Rainbow Trout are both present and there is no limit to your catch. If hiking down to the boat and fishing are not your style, you have ample options to enjoy any of Crater Lake’s other 90 miles of hiking trails, or simply take the day at your own leisure. Our evening will conclude at the Running Y Ranch & Resort where you can relax in the crisp fresh air and beautiful scenery. We will regroup for a private dinner at the Running Y Greenhouse, where the resort’s Chef will serve specially-crafted farm-to-table dining in a setting that is unmatched. The golden hours of the evening are yours to enjoy exploring the ranch.
Day 4: Rogue River Jet Boat Ride, Redwoods and Pacific Ocean
Premium Lodging: Tu Tu Tun Lodge, Gold Beach OR
This morning we’ll board a jet-boat for a 4 hour, 36-mile excursion through Hells Gate Canyon on the Rogue River. The pilot will narrate the history, geographic features and wildlife of the region. We’ll wind through the canyon’s 100-foot-high cliffs that were made famous by the cliff jumping scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Meryl Streep in The River Wild. As the evening approaches, we’ll take a scenic drive to the Oregon Coast. Dipping briefly into the state of California, we’ll graze past the towering Sequoias of the Redwood National Forest as we approach the setting sun at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. We’ll end the day in the secluded oasis of Tu Tu Tun Lodge.
Day 5: Oregon Coast Rock Formations and Scenic Corridor

This morning, we will depart for a scenic excursion along the Oregon Coast. We’ll begin at Cape Blanco – the most western point of the continental US – where various hiking trails provide spectacular scenic views of coastal reefs and the Cape Blanco Lighthouse. For lunch, we’ll continue north to the charming coastal town, Bandon-By-The-Sea, where galleries, antique shops, and restaurants are in abundance.
We’ll return to the lodge for an afternoon of rest and relaxation. For an optional evening excursion, we’ll venture down the Cape Sebastian State Scenic Corridor to view some of Oregon’s most notable coastal rock formations. Take in the coastal breeze and capture a stunning Oregon Coast sunset while sipping on a refreshing beverage. We’ll return to Gold Beach for our final night at the beautiful Tu Tu Tun Lodge.
Day 6: Shores Acres State Park and Willamette Valley Wine Country

This morning we’ll depart early to explore Shores Acres State Park where you’ll find coastal scenic trails, beautiful Oregon rock formations, lush Botanical Gardens, and even whale watching! After lunch, we’ll continue to the great Willamette Valley Wine Country. Home to more than 400 wineries, wine shops and wine bars, we will visit the top destinations of the valley, providing opportunity to savor the terroir of the region. In the heart of Oregon’s world-famous Pinot Noir country, you’ll sip a palate-pleasing selection of the finest wines from wineries such as Domaine Drouhin, Brooks Wine, Grochau Cellars, Sokol Blosser, Penner-Ash, Hazelfern Cellars, and Nicolas-Jay. We will conclude our trip with a skyline farewell dinner 30 stories up at Portland City Grill. Tonight is yours to enjoy at the luxurious Portland Marriott with rooms overlooking the city skyline and Willamette River. If you aren’t quite ready to turn in for the night, Portland has an abundance of bars, pubs, taprooms and other restaurants that are conveniently located close to your hotel. Enjoy Portland nightlife to wrap up an adventure-filled week.
Day 7: The Journey Home
