Mt. Rainier National Park

Discover the legendary wildlife and scenery of the Pacific Northwest on this all-inclusive day-long adventure through Mount Rainier National Park. The lush valleys, meadows of vibrant wildflowers,  glaciers, elusive wildlife, and the mountain await you on this Glimpse into the Majestic Landscapes of Mount Rainier. Departing from Seattle, we will begin the two-hour scenic drive to Mt. Rainier National Park. If you haven’t already eaten, our hospitality chef will have a selection of on-the-go breakfast items and baked good available aboard the Limo Liner.

As we approach the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, we ’ll stop for leisure nature walk through Greenlees Grove. Witness the towering trees above you as your guide educates you on surrounding flora and fauna. When you return, appetizers and refreshments await you aboard the Limo Liner.

Entering through the Stevens Canyon entrance, we’ll drive along Sunrise Ridge until we reach the Grove of the Patriarchs. Here, you ’ll have the opportunity to venture to the island of old growth trees in the middle of the Ohanapecosh River. The short mile trek leads you over a bridge suspended above the river. Once on the island, you’ll find thousand-year-old Douglas Firs and Red Cedars towering above the lush undergrowth. When you return, your guides will distribute your lunches to eat in transit as we continue through Mount Rainier National Park.

Driving west, we’ll visit key destinations such as Stevens Canyon, and view Box Canyon from the bridge that sits 180 feet above the Cowlitz River. Once at Paradise Inn, multiple scenic options await you. For those who want to hike, there are easy, moderate and difficult trails each showcasing grand panoramic views of Mount Rainier, glacial waterfalls, and the surrounding Tatoosh Mountain Range.

Before we go, take the time to walk through the Henry M Jackson Memorial Visitor Center to view educational exhibits and gift shops. When you return from your adventures, dinner awaits you aboard the Limo Liner as well as a selection of appetizers and refreshments. Continuing through the Nisqually region, we’ll drive along Paradise River, passing by Narada, Carter and Christine Falls.

As we make our way back to Seattle, enjoy a hot towel infused with lemongrass essential oils paired with our chef’s dessert of the evening. Thank you for trusting us with your valued vacation time and for choosing Experience Park Tours. Happy Travels!
